Conor McGregor lauded Claressa Shields who is also called the female Mayweather

The noted UFC icon, Conor McGregor had always held the multiple-weight female boxing world champion, Claressa Shields, at high stakes. Previously McGregor had also provided valuable advice to her while she transitioned to MMA. But this time McGregor was enthralled by her success as he went all praises for her. ‘The Notorious’ took his Twitter handle in order to laud Shields’ latest title defense over Maricela Cornejo, via a unanimous decision.

McGregor had also predicted that Shields would win the bout. Evidently, it doubled up McGregor’s joy which was apparent from his tweets. The prediction tweet from McGregor read, “100%! I see a BIG KO WIN in this one for you Claressa. Watching real close”.

While his congratulatory tweet partially read, “Here i am with the dough, but no, this Woman is on the ball! The full show, and all across the board, and built and done all on her own. The stars are aligning it is as clear as day! I seen this from years coming.”

New Zealand MMA took a massive decision after Kai Kara-France’s loss

Kai Kara-France’s much-debated loss against Amir Albazi at UFC Vegas 74 sparked massive outrage from a number of fans and MMA pundits. Most noticeably, the current UFC Middleweight kingpin, Israel Adesanya also tweeted about the decision calling it a “Robbery” against his friend Kara-France. Also, the NZMMAF(New Zealand Mixed Martial Arts Federation) took notice of this issue and declared that it will cut ties with IMMAF(International Mixed Martial Arts Federation)

After criticizing the manipulative environment in IMMAF openly on their Facebook page, NZMMAF also blamed IMMAF for the seemingly unfair decision against Kara-France. They also declared their estrangement from IMMAF through their Facebook page.

But fighters from New Zealand like ‘Izzy’ and Dan Hooker might be affected by this separation. Without their national federation backing them, Izzy and Hooker may have a tough road ahead of them.
