Jose Aldo apologizes to Conor McGregor over the X-rated rant
The soon-to-be-hall of famer, Jose Aldo, recently took responsibility and expressed regret for his X-rated tirade against his former opponent Conor McGregor. The rant came after Aldo lost his second boxing bout. In a show of character, the Brazilian fighter apologized to McGregor for his outburst.
In an interview with MMA Fighting, Aldo explained that the incident happened in the heat of the moment. However, upon reflection, he realized that McGregor’s comments were not intended to provoke him. Instead, they were meant to motivate him.

Aldo went on to say, “But when I got to Brazil, I messaged him apologizing because I saw it wasn’t his intention to challenge me. He was trying to give me a push.”
Aldo even admitted that there is much to learn from McGregor in the field of boxing. He acknowledged the Irishman’s experience of fighting the legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather and the lessons he must have learned in the process.
Chael Sonnen cannot comprehend Jon Jones’ behavior
The much-anticipated fight between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic is in jeopardy after UFC President Dana White announced that the newly crowned heavyweight champion has ‘disappeared’ since UFC 285. This has left UFC veteran Chael Sonnen perplexed and searching for answers.
In a recent YouTube video, Sonnen discussed Jones’ disappearance. He stated, “There’s no such thing as disappearing for weeks or months, not in this sport. You must be accessible 24/7 to USADA. So, he had the phone, he had the device, and he just didn’t check his texts?”
Sonnen continued, “It’s a really hard one for me to understand. Particularly if your boss is trying to get a hold of you to give you a multi-million dollar job and he’s only called you once in the last four years.”
Although ‘Jonny Bones’ recently returned to social media, responding to Miocic’s comments during his absence, questions remain about his availability and readiness for the upcoming fight.
Beneil Dariush feels Conor McGregor would give it all up to become a good fighter
Conor McGregor is set to make a comeback later this year in a pay-per-view event against Michael Chandler. However, according to lightweight fighter Beneil Dariush, McGregor’s mindset may not be where it needs to be. Dariush recently stated, “He doesn’t know what to do. I think he’s so lost right now.” The Iranian fighter believes that McGregor’s focus is off and that he needs to reorient himself before stepping back into the octagon.

Dariush went on to say, “Every fighter wants to be rich and have power like he does. But he is the opposite now. He’s willing to give up all his wealth and whatever to be a good fighter again.”
This is not the first time that Dariush has spoken up to Conor McGregor. In the past, he has accused the Irish fighter of cheating.
