Khamzat Chimaev has always taken over the world with courageous callous to various entities competing in the UFC. The callouts unquestionably attracted the attention of MMA fans. He showed interest in fighting Robert Whittaker, Colby Covington, and many others. Unfortunately, the callouts never proceeded to actual fights. Although the warrior has repeatedly expressed his desire to fight anyone, his arguably selective nature in choosing an opponent has disappointed the fans on multiple occasions.

Back in 2019, the ‘Chechen Wolf’ sparred with the #1 ranked UFC light heavyweight, Jiri Prochazka. Surprisingly, he wasn’t impressed with Prochazka and claimed to have defeated him in an interview. With the internet acting as the mediator, the interview footage found its way to Reddit. Without a doubt, the fans took over the comments section and dissed the Swedish fighter.

Previously in 2019, ‘Borz’ entered a sparring match with ‘Denisa’. Chimaev’s coach, Alan Nascimento, told Sherdog that it was indeed a ‘crazy’ session, where both of the fighters were trying to kill each other. However, when the ‘Wolf’ was asked if he was interested in fighting him, the reply apparently surprised the fans.

Undeniably, the act caused outrage among the fans. While many of the fans were upset about the fighter’s comments, most of them seemingly poked Chimaev to take up a fight with ‘Denisa’.
