Dustin Poirier feels Max Holloway can “pick him [Gaethje] apart”: Here’s how

35-year-old Dustin Poirier is in the form of his life at the moment. After putting up a dominant show at UFC 299, ‘The Diamond’ is now waiting for a title shot next. He made a recent appearance on the Theo Von podcast to talk about the upcoming UFC 300 event and shared his thoughts on the Holloway-Gaethje fight. Poirier has faced both of them in his career and feels Holloway can upset the champion. While speaking to Theo Von, he shared the reason why Holloway can win the BMF title. He began like this: “I think people are kind of looking past Max a little bit.”

The 35-year-old said, “I think Max can beat Justin. You know, of course, Justin could win, but Max is tough, his rhythm, his range, and his technique on the feet, you know. Unless Justin wrestles a little bit I think Max can pick him apart and stay on the outside, but that’s what makes fighting so fun we don’t know until we watch it”.
