Bobby Green suspended by USADA
The lightweight fighter, Bobby ‘King’ Green was suspended for six months by the USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency). He tested positive for an anabolic androgenic steroidal compound in the urinalysis. The ‘King’ later revealed that he took dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) as a supplement. He claimed to be unaware of the fact it was a banned androgenic product.

Later, Green took responsibility for his actions. He also accepted that it was his fault for testing positive in the drug test. However, DHEA was available in the US as an over-the-counter supplement formulation. Since Green was unaware of the ban, and he cooperated fully with the USADA, he got a reduced suspension of six months.
