UFC Bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley had a lot of reasons not to go to Russia. And declined Russian politician Ramzan Kadyrov’s invitation to be a guest at his home. The Russian warlord had apparently sent invites to several renowned UFC fighters. Maybe he’s also taken a liking to the sport of MMA and wants to learn about the fighters. But, associates of UFC Manager Ali Abdelaziz made sure to show up. This list includes famous UFC champions such as Kamaru Usman, Justin Gaethje, and Henry Cejudo. But he also understood why someone like Cejudo couldn’t decline the offer. Because, according to ‘Suga’, Cejudo was financially broke.
Sean O’Malley declined The Russian Party Invitation
In a recent podcast episode, Sugar explained why he chose not to attend a Chechen warlord’s invitation to his son’s birthday party. Primarily, he had reservations about the type of invitation it was. And O’Malley wouldn’t want himself to get mixed up into politics at a young age.
And concluded that he wouldn’t go to the Russian Warlord’s party. Even though the party had attendance from notable UFC personalities. Kamaru Usman, Justin Gaethje and Henry Cejudo attended at the behest of their manager, Ali Abdelaziz.
Sugar said, “The reason we never really ended up going is because we we were saying like ‘who is this for?’”
“and we couldn’t really get an answer. So I’m like f*ck that.”

and ultimately, O’Malley decided to stay at home while the boys partied in Russia.
But it did not surprise the current bantamweight ranking leader to see Triple C have the time of his life in Russia. Afterall, he took his UFC buddies along with him.
Henry Cejudo would do anything at this point
Sean O’Malley ripped Former flyweight champion Henry Cejudo for not being financially stable. However, after his retirement, Cejudo doesn’t miss an opportunity to collect a fat paycheck.

O’Malley said, “Obviously Henry’s fucking going to take the money. He’s literally probably made $1 million in his whole career fighting. So yeah, he’s probably broke and needs to get to Russia,”
“When you’re broke and someone offers you $150,000, I bet Henry jumped all over that. I bet he was like ‘I’ll do it for $100,000 and a quesadilla.’”
Sugar did not hide his feelings when it came to Cejudo or Kadyrov.
