Conor McGregor is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the MMA world. The Irishman is one of the most coveted strikers inside the Octagon. But during his free hours, McGregor prefers keeping his fingers busy posting a plethora of stuff on his social media handles. His posts are mostly about himself, his family, his lifestyle, or his training. Recently McGregor took to his go-to social media outlet, Twitter, and posted a promotional tweet predicting the winner of the UFC 281 main event.
He was promoting ‘DraftKings’ an online betting company, that is also an official sponsor of the UFC. But ‘Mystic Mac’s’ prediction in his tweet came out to be horribly wrong.

Mystic Conor McGregor has lost his prediction skills
McGregor’s tweet, that has now been deleted, showcased an animated photo of him. He captioned the tweet, “Adesanya wins tonight. My bet. Put your money where your mouth is on @DKSportsbook where new customers can bet $5 to get $200 in free bets if your fighter wins. Use Promo code CONOR! #DKPartner https://dkng.co/conor”
But as the entire MMA world knows that the result came out to be just the opposite of what McGregor has predicted. Alex ‘Poatan’ Pereira scored a standing knockout victory over the Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

McGregor’s promotional tweet was also targeted by many netizens as they went on to mock him through their replies. He had once proclaimed himself as ‘Mystic Mac’ due to his ability to predict fights. But it was apparent that ‘Mystic Mac’s’ powers were falling apart.
What the fans had to say about McGregor’s tweet
One Twitter user predicted the fight with better accuracy than McGregor stating, “If izzy wins its on points an if that’s the case it’s going to be another painful watch. Tho I reckon Alex will stalk him an not give him space, if so we’ll be in for a real fight, Alex to win by tko”.

A fan went berserk with his mockery and wrote, “Knowing you i think you bet that pereira would win and tell people Adesanya would win so you can make more money.” His reply was actually hilarious. One more fan blatantly replied, “I love ya Conor but you’re wrong… #andnew tn”.
