‘The Lioness’ is looking forward to another fight against the bantamweight champion. She is sure that she will be successful against Peña. The fighter has also left the ‘American Top Team’ to train at her own gym. So, during their next fight, it would be interesting to see what changes Nunes makes to her game plan.

Speaking about her rematch with Peña, Nunes said, “… in the next rematch, we’re going to take that belt back. She have a good time right now and I want to see literally like, enjoy every single day with that belt because that belt’s mine.”

From Nunes’ explanation, it is clear that her timing was off and this led to her loss. So her second match with Peña will be a good decision-maker about the better fighter between the two. A highly motivated Nunes facing off against Peña defending her title will result in a much more explosive fight than the first one.

“Honestly, after I lose the belt, the fires like build-up again,” said Nunes.
