Francis Ngannou opens up about Jon Jones’ fight

The former UFC heavyweight champion opened up to ESPN MMA’s Brett Okamoto. ‘The Predator’ disclosed his views on snubbing the Jon Jones fight. The fans got to know what Ngannou had to say about the allegations from fans and Jones.

Ngannou said, “I’ll fight Jon Jones twice a month”. While speaking about his tweet about Jones’ winning the heavyweight championship wherein he signed the tweet as ‘Heavyweight King’, Ngannou added, “I just signed my message. He can know from where the message is coming from.”

The current and the former heavyweight champions have been going back and forth over social media regarding the issue.

Furthermore, the former UFC heavyweight stated that he is not afraid to face Jones, contrary to what people might believe.

‘The Predator’ was vocal to his critics during the interview. Ngannou added, “Listen I’m not arguing somebody spot here. I’m not fighting. I think a lot of people they understand they think on the wrong side, They’re mistaken what exactly is the fact here and I’m not fighting any of those guys. I’m not trying to stand into anybody way. But I’m just trying to stand up for myself and defend what’s right for me which doesn’t have to be against any of those guys. It’s the sport man! As they say, it’s the sport and I am a sport man. I can take the heat and I can roll with it. It’s the beauty of the sport.”
