UFC lightweight Justin Gaethje went off on Michael Chandler with a recent tweet that has taken everyone by surprise. ‘The Highlight’ isn’t someone that usually engages in Twitter call-outs, however, it seems as though Chandler struck a nerve. Chiefly, Michael Chandler recently spoke to Mac Life and had some rather interesting warring words for Justin Gaethje.
Chandler claimed that Gaethje has been offered to fight him on multiple occasions and yet the fight hasn’t come to fruition. While he wasn’t outright in his conveyance, it’s clear that Chandler was implying that Gaethje was avoiding the fight.

“Justin Gaethje, come on bro. You call yourself a fighter and you are. You’re one of the most exciting guys in Mixed Martial Arts. Be prepared to make a highlight or be made a highlight cause that’s what I am, that’s what I’m ready to do.”
“I’ve said Justin Gaethje’s name no less than a hundred times since I’ve signed with the organization. He’s been asked to fight me three or four different times. Every time he’s declined. He and I are ranked two spots away from each other. He has not fought since last October.”
Justin Gaethje simply couldn’t let Chandler’s recent comments slide and he clapped back with full force. He trolled Chandler by saying he got preferential treatment from Dana White and also asked him why he went MIA after his loss.
@MikeChandlerMMA is talking out of his ass. I was waiting for the bout agreement 3 weeks into camp and wake up to news his daddy Dana gave him the shot. He’s been out of commission since the KO. What am I missing? I’m on vacay and this fucker is slandering my name. 3-4 times? 🤦♂️
