Jake Paul had recently faced former UFC fighter, Ben Askren, in a boxing match. ‘The Problem Child’ defeated Askren via a first-round TKO and impressed many. Gilbert Burns seems to be one of those people, as he believes it would be tough for Woodley to overcome Paul.
He said, “They look big, he’s very big, he might be walking around 200, 205. He gonna make 190? I don’t see an easy fight for Tyron Woodley and I see the pressure is on Tyron Woodley; he has to win the fight otherwise, it’s gonna be a hard one for him to recover from.”
“So a lot of pressure on Tyron Woodley going into this fight. I have no prediction; I gotta watch this one close, but I’m not that confident that Tyron Woodley’s gonna pull that one-off.”

Gilbert Burns faced Tyron Woodley at UFC on ESPN 9 and defeated him via unanimous decision. Therefore, as ‘Durinho’ has the experience of defeating Woodley, he was asked to give any advice to Paul regarding the same.
He said, “One thing I learned from Tyron Woodley, he’s very afraid to get tired. I saw he was kind of holding on to the energy, I know he loads up the punch a lot. I saw the overhand right coming, that’s when I countered him and hurt him really badly.”

“What do I tell Jake? I think Jake gotta stay calm, put pressure on him, watch out for that right hand but at the same time, the overhand right comes. He opens a lot of things, so I’ll tell him to counter. Watch out, keep the left hand up, work a lot, he’s bigger than Woodley’s, Woodley’s gotta come forward, and yeah.”
