To make sure that the Irishman does not have an easy time, the three-time Bellator lightweight champion, Michael Chandler, will coach against him. However, it is natural for all the MMA fighters and the fans to think that TUF 31 will break all the records as it will witness the comeback of the UFC legend, Conor McGregor. Nonetheless, the former UFC alumni claim otherwise. Without a shadow of doubt, he asserts that McGregor will never be able to outdo the numbers of TUF 10, where Kimbo Slice reigned.

Can Conor McGregor break the record of Kimbo Slice?
On the episode 322 Brendan Schaub Show, Brendan Schaub talked about being an alumni of The Ultimate Fighter and how he strongly believes that TUF 10 was the best of all. Schaub said ” you’re bat**it crazy if you think Connor, Chandler is gonna beat the numbers. The Ultimate Fighter 10 did with Kimbo Slice, Brandon yeah, alright Roy Nelson.” Listening to Schaub’s remark, the Interviewer said that TUF 10 was undoubtedly a dope season. For which the Big Brown said “The best yeah the ratings say, the best. What can I do? I’m so new to it.“

The coaches of TUF 10 were the former UFC heavyweight champions Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans. Kevin Ferugson, aka “Kimbo Slice,” was on the Rampage. The UFC president, Dana White, made sure that he made a TUF season just for heavyweights to accommodate Kimbo Slice. White indeed took the best decision of all. Slice was able to capture a lot of attention for the reality series. Slice made his UFC debut on December 5, 2009, taking on Houston Alexander on the main card of The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale. He had a 3-1-0 professional MMA record at the time.

The finale of The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights received an average audience of 3.7 million viewers while being broadcast on Spike TV. Even though Slice was the non-headliner, the viewership skyrocketed to an astounding 5.2 million when he entered the picture. The season finale of TUF 10 received the most viewers in the reality series’ history.
