Bo Nickal has come out and made a bold statement in light of the recent changes to the UFC 300 card! Previously, questions have been raised about his placement on the card above established names in the promotion like Jiri Prochazka and Charles Oliveira. As such, fans had made their displeasure known online about the middleweight prospect getting main-card status.
But in a recent update, the UFC 300 bout order has seen some changes being made in the order of the fights. And so, in a blunt yet confident statement, Nickal took to social media to let the world know what he thinks about his new placement on the historic card!

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Bo Nickal had addressed the controversy surrounding his fight being placed above former lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira on the UFC 300 card. He stated, “It doesn’t affect me. At the end of the day, the decision was made because I probably sell more. More people want to see me.”
Despite being relatively new to the UFC, Nickal’s name appeared above former champions and seasoned contenders on the preliminary card, sparking debates among fans.

But in a recent update, UFC CEO Dana White has made another shake-up to the bout order! In a post shared on X by Damon Martin, he revealed, “So looks like Bo Nickal vs Cody Brundage will open the #UFC300 main card. It was originally listed as the second fight on the main card.”

And displaying supreme confidence in his abilities, Nickal responded to the update on X by stating, “Main card, prelims, parking lot, back yard, doesn’t matter when same result I’m gonna smash this dude.” As UFC 300 approaches, fans eagerly anticipate seeing Nickal’s performance and whether he can live up to his confident proclamation and continue his climb toward the 185 lbs title.
However, according to a UFC veteran and analyst, the fight may be more dangerous for Nickal and his position in the UFC’s middleweight division than he might expect!
UFC veteran reveals the dangers of UFC 300 bout for Nickal
Chael Sonnen, known for his outspoken personality, recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming Bo Nickal vs. Cody Brundage fight at UFC 300. Nickal, considered one of the top prospects in the UFC’s middleweight division by many experts, will be making his third appearance inside the Octagon against Brundage.

However, speaking on his YouTube channel, Sonnen revealed that this matchup may not be as rewarding for Nickal’s climb to the top! He stated, “There seems to be, at this point, at least with this card’s placement, a very big risk by Bo.”
Sonnen also emphasized the importance of assessing the risk involved, especially if Brundage pulls off an upset victory that could potentially set back Nickal’s ‘star status’ in the UFC. As the anticipation builds for UFC 300, fans eagerly await to see if Nickal can maintain his momentum or if Brundage will cause a major upset in the middleweight division.
