It seems Israel Adesanya wasn’t happy with just giving tips to Jamahal Hill ahead of UFC 300! The light heavyweight title clash between Alex Pereira and Hill at the historic UFC card has been one of the most highly anticipated showdowns at the event. Ahead of the fight, it was reported that Hill had reached out to Adesanya to pick his brain about how to approach the challenge of facing ‘Poatan’ inside the Octagon.

But apparently, that isn’t the only help ‘Sweet Dreams’ has gotten from the former UFC middleweight champion. In a recent social media post, Adesanya fired a salvo at his rival with a reminder of their history to possibly rattle ‘Poatan’ as he attempts to defend his light heavyweight crown against Jamahal Hill.

In a recent video on his YouTube channel, Israel Adesanya shared his thoughts on the UFC 300 main event. He highlighted the knockout power of both fighters and predicted, “I’m gonna go Jamahal by knockout, first two and a half [rounds].”

He also stated that he doesn’t believe Jamahal Hill is “scared”, going into this fight and highlighted ‘Poatan’s dangerous leg kicks as something that Hill will have to be mindful of. With the fight being scheduled for 5 rounds, Adesanya believes that it’ll be a “slow start” by both men as they’ll attempt to find their range and distance to land their shots.

Honestly, it needed to be on video because if he goes over there to train with Adesanya, Adesanya is gonna kick his a**, break his leg, and he’s not gonna be able to fight, so I’m glad they did it over video.”

He further went on to reveal that headlining UFC 300 holds immense significance for him. Defying skeptics who doubted his abilities, Pereira aims to solidify his position in the light heavyweight division and silence those who once dismissed him as a “one-dimensional kickboxer”.
