UFC Champ Leon Edwards Suspects if ‘Respectable Guy’ Kamaru Usman Is Fake After ‘Weird’ Act: “He Unfollowed Me on Social Media”
The UFC Welterweight champion has been on the top for a few months now. Leon Edwards has been the undisputed champion ever since his UFC 278 victory against Kamaru Usman. The fight did incredible considering the PPV and also considering the reviews of the audience. Indeed, it was a fabulous performance by both fighters. Unfortunately, only one could take the best out of it. The destiny of the Welterweight title was fated to be in front of Leon Edwards’s name. Even though fans expected Usman to be absolutely heartbroken by his defeat at the hands of the English fighter, he pretended it wasn’t much.

The welterweight champion suspects that the predecessor of his title is showing fake emotions to the public. Usman does not want to seem desperate to have lost his title. However, it looks like the champion has read through him. ‘Rocky’, in a new viral video, was caught talking about his relationship with Kamaru Usman. While talking, he ended up revealing his thoughts about ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ ahead of their UFC 286 fight.

During the interview, ‘Rocky’ also revealed that he and his title rival used to follow each other on social media. However, he also made it pretty clear that they don’t share the same equation anymore. “He unfollowed me on Instagram,” added the upset English fighter. The reason for the crack in their relationship could be the knockout that Edwards planted on Usman, snatching his title away. While fans may be lingering on why the Nigerian-born fighter unfollowed him, Edwards was busy wondering why he even followed him in the first place. UFC Welterweight champion said, “it’s a bit weird,” why Usman tried to befriend him on social media.

“I’m so happy I got knocked out to lose the least belt, too much pressure,” said the 31-year-old champ, quoting Kamaru Usman mockingly. ‘Rocky’ cannot believe that a fighter could be so unbothered about losing a title. This personality trait of the Nigerian fighter disturbed Edwards to such an extent that he does not want to achieve this level of comfort in his life ever.

Usman is all set to claim the welterweight title from Leon Edwards
The champion may need to start worrying a little if he was not considering his UFC 286 fight anything. The only reason that the 35-year-old ex-welterweight champion is so cool about his title is that he expects to get it back again. The real question lies with our reigning UFC champ.
