The welterweight champion suspects that the predecessor of his title is showing fake emotions to the public. Usman does not want to seem desperate to have lost his title. While talking, he ended up revealing his thoughts about ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ ahead of their UFC 286 fight.

During the interview, ‘Rocky’ also revealed that he and his title rival used to follow each other on social media. However, he also made it pretty clear that they don’t share the same equation anymore. “He unfollowed me on Instagram,” added the upset English fighter. The reason for the crack in their relationship could be the knockout that Edwards planted on Usman, snatching his title away. While fans may be lingering on why the Nigerian-born fighter unfollowed him, Edwards was busy wondering why he even followed him in the first place. UFC Welterweight champion said, “it’s a bit weird,” why Usman tried to befriend him on social media.
