The video shows Chimaev and the Chechen supremo engrossed in some light-hearted boxing and friendly wrestling. While it’s evident that Chimaev is not going in with all he has the video shows Kadyrov rag-dolling the UFC fighter. The video didn’t sit well with many fans as they called out Chimaev for doing things to keep Kadyrov happy. Michael Bisping, however, has turned out to support Chimaev.
UFC Legend sees nothing wrong with the video
Combat sports analyst and radio host, Luke Thomas had called the video showing Chimaev and Kadyrov “sad”. UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping had a different view. Replying to Luke Thomas’ tweet Bisping tweeted, “Hey luke. Hope all is well. Wouldn’t say it’s sad. I think it’s more being respectful. He’s not gonna go 100 percent on a none pro, an elder and the leader of the country. I wouldn’t either. Unless of course he chatted some sh*t!”

Michael Bisping was of the opinion that #3 welterweight fighter wasn’t doing anything wrong.
Given his training, age, and political stature, Chimaev was not wrong in not going against him with all he had. The support from Bisping serves Chimaev really well at the moment when he is being questioned about his ties with Kadyrov and his inactivity in the cage.
