The UFC has had a long relationship with the entertainment world. Many former fighters like Rashad Evans, Frank Mir, Ronda Rousey, and several others have ventured into the Hollywood realm. The latest addition could be Conor McGregor. The Irishman has acted in the Hollywood flick Road House. He will be seen alongside Jake Gyllenhaal. The duo was seen at UFC 285. While the opportunity and the fame involved attract a lot of attention, fans seldom get to know how much these MMA stars get paid for their work in Hollywood movies. The latest episode of Michael Bisping‘s Believe You Me podcast answered some of those questions.

Bisping said, “I thought George Saint Pierre, that’s by far my biggest fight did very well, you know. I did it did very well. You know there was some good life-changing money from that one. Um, and it takes a while to collect; it also it feels like it but yeah, no, no, sadly, like when I have acted in movies you get little, uh, residuals; you know you get little checks here and there. They’re not much. I mean, if I was Vin Diesel or someone like that, they would be massive.”

Michael Bisping explains royalty payments
Michael Bisping laughed about the fact that the royalty payments came in very small fragments and how sometimes the payments were as low as 0.3 cents. ‘The Count’ said, “we play a little game because I haven’t done a lot. I think I’ve got about I don’t know 17 acting credits, something like that which you know it’s not bad for a knucklehead. Every time they get shown you get sent a little cash, it’s not much and we get a few no. I want to go to Australia, came back. I had about six of them to open, you know, and I’m like all right. What do we think? What’s our guess? Seven cents sometimes it’s 0.3 cents.”
