VIDEO: Conor McGregor Begins Intense Training for the First Time After Surgery

Conor McGregor has captured the attention of the fanbase ever since he burst onto the scene back in 2013. The Notorious reigned over the lightweight division during his prime time in the promotion and became the first simultaneous ‘champ champ’ in the UFC. As of October 2021, Conor stands at number nine in the UFC’s lightweight rankings. and he has some catching up to do.
During his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier, Conor suffered a horrible leg injury. McGregor broke his tibia and fibula in the first round of his fight against the ‘Diamond’ and he has been taking time away from competing to work on his injury rehabilitation ever since. Conor appears to be getting back into fighting shape after some time has passed.
Even though Conor isn’t fighting right now, he’s always headlining the news for his notorious behavior. Conor McGregor is now back in the spotlight as he shows off his renowned striking ability. Conor was spotted training in the gym with MMA and fitness trainer Ross Edmonds. He posted a clip of their session on his Twitter page.

Conor also recently took to Instagram to give his fans hope for his return to the fighting world. he wrote, “2 more months I am able to kick, grapple and run again. Ecstatic and grateful at my position current. Watch the work get put in now. 8 weeks left this calendar year. Perfect to get a head start on 22’. You think a broke bone stop me? Ho I’ve 3 legs @netflix “

What’s next for Conor McGregor?
Conor hasn’t revealed any news of his next opponent for his return to the fight world. However, the Irish fighter has been constantly reassuring fans of his speedy recovery process after his tragic leg injury.
Even though no fighters have hinted towards a possible fight, we’ll know that Conor’s return will be a fight with huge money involved. Owing to his long-standing rivalry with Dustin Poirier, some fans anticipate a fourth fight between the two as their third bout ended with Conor’s injury in the first round. Apart from Poirier, we could also see a trilogy bout with Nate Diaz as the fighters are 1-1 in their rivalry score right now.
