Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gets Michael Chiesa to beg for mercy! Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is unarguably one of the most common martial art forms used in the UFC. Despite its common nature, the fighting style is not easy to learn. In fact, it is also a very practical approach to self-defense while offering a great opportunity for MMA players. While the fighting style requires strict discipline and patience, some practices can turn around the seriousness for a bit of fun time. One such practice is to hit the new dan-holder with your belt! According to the traditions, all the fellow gym members will hit the person, who has got a new dan, with their respective belts.
