Khamzat Chimaev’s fight against Li Jingliang at UFC 267 was a spectacular one. Chimaev exceeded everyone’s expectations and returned with a bang. The end of their bout left everyone speechless. When Chimaev lifted Jingliang, walked to the other side of the octagon, and spoke to Dana White -all while the fight was still on- people understood that he going to be one of the greatest UFC fighters.
His display of power and dominance was shocking. Even White could not deny that Chimaev is a special fighter. In an interview with TMZ Sports, he said, “This guy is like nothing anybody’s ever seen. When you think about it, he’s got more UFC wins than he’s been hit inside the octagon.”
Chimaev also seems to be swiftly climbing the star power ladder. White revealed, “The other night, our social team, they filmed his, his walkout live on, on Instagram live. It broke the record. It’s the biggest Instagram live we’ve ever done.”

Shortly after his incredibly important win, Khamzat Chimaev’s eyes were set on the legendary Nate Diaz. That’s who he wants to fight next, and he didn’t leave a chance to call out Diaz.
Why Did Kamaru Usman Engage in a Feud With UFC President Dana White?
Khamzat Chimaev versus Nate Diaz might be one of the most dangerous fights to witness. Both the fighters are not only good but also seem to have never-ending strength and stamina. While Diaz’s technique may seem sloppy, he can survive in the ring for a long-long time.

Thus, if Diaz says yes to the fight, there is a high chance that this bout will happen in the future. White is “100 percent” down for this bout if Diaz agrees. Nate Diaz has just one fight left in his contract with UFC. Hence, he could be picky about waiting for the right opponent for his last fight. If this happens, Chimaev might not get the opportunity to face Diaz.
However, if the fight takes place, Chimaev and Diaz would be very tough opponents for each other. Diaz’s ability to bleed a ton, yet go on, may make it difficult for Chimaev, whereas Chimaev’s swift takedowns may cause a huge problem for Diaz.
