UFC 272 is moving closer than ever with each passing second. Colby ‘Chaos’ Covington will face bitter rival and former friend Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal in the main event of the night. But the important question fans always wonder before a PPV is- will Joe Rogan be calling the fights?

The UFC PPV commentary team has seen many great combinations, but the trio of Joe Rogan, Daniel Cormier, and Jon Anik top the chart.

In a recent interview with Robbie Fox, UFC President Dana White hinted at the composition of the commentary team at UFC 272.

During the interview, to answer whether Rogan will be in the commentary booth at UFC 272 or not, White said, “He’s on this week, Cormier is off.”

DC‘ will not attend UFC 272 for personal reasons. Though the revelation from the UFC President was great news for all the Joe Rogan fans, Cormier fans will be upset.

A Look at Daniel Cormier and His Coaching Career

Ahead of UFC 271, Joe Rogan withdrew due to a scheduling conflict. However, UFC President, in the post-fight conference, assured fans that Rogan can call any event he wants and will probably be back at UFC 272.

Now that Dana White has confirmed Rogan‘s presence at UFC 272, the fans will witness the veteran UFC commentator with his usual partner, Jon Anik.

Joe Rogan is back, but Daniel Cormier will miss out on UFC 272

Former UFC double champion Daniel Cormier is always fun in the commentary booth. Cormier, with his adorable character, makes this intense and grueling sport more fun to watch. However, ‘DC’ revealed that he will have to miss out on UFC 272 due to the passing of his mother.

Former middleweight champion and UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping will take Cormier’s place in the broadcast booth. Hence, the trio to commentate on the fights for UFC 272 will be Joe Rogan, Michael Bisping, and Jon Anik.
