‘The Notorious‘ Conor McGregor is set to make his highly awaited return to the Octagon later this month. The Irishman will fight Dustin Poirier in the main event of the UFC 257 pay-per-view. McGregor will look to replicate his previous performance against ‘The Diamond‘, as he knocked out the Louisiana native in 2014.
But the consensus is Poirier has improved a lot since, and this time the fight will be different. It seems like McGregor is ready for any type of challenge Poirier will throw in his way. He looks in prime shape in his training camp ahead of the rematch.

In fact, the former two-division champion looks beefed up in recent photos. He has visibly gained some significant muscle mass over the course of the past few years. But, he will have to make the non-title lightweight limit of 156lbs. That shouldn’t be much of a concern considering his perfect weight cutting record in the past.
McGregor fought Poirier in a featherweight bout at UFC 178 in 2014. It’s incredible how worn out he used to look in that weight division. He has since competed at lightweight and welterweight in the UFC. Although he has an unbeaten record at featherweight, 155 lbs is believed to be his natural weight class as he doesn’t have to starve himself to make the weight.
