Dustin Poirier is itching to get back in the game after a painful setback in the form of a staph infection on his foot. ‘The Diamond’ last shined in the octagon in November when he defeated Michael Chandler with a third-round submission, leaving fans itching for more. The UFC is on fire this year, with fight after fight leaving fans on the edge of their seats, and Poirier’s fans are eager to see him join in on the madness.

Recently, a fan requested that Poirier make his return to the octagon in a rather unconventional way. Not the politest he could’ve been, to say the least. But Poirier had a ready reply and put the fan in their place, showing that he’s not one to be trifled with.

Recently a fan sent out a tweet to Dustin Poirier asking about his comeback plans, to which the Louisiana native replied by saying, “Working on it”. However, another fan replied to Poirier requesting to come back as well, but took a rather blunt approach and stated how he hated the fighter once.

The fan wrote, “I used to hate you tbh… but just come back. It’s getting boring.”

And Dustin Poirier had just the right response for that, staying unaffected by the fan’s statement.
