“Your Father Died in Front of You?” – Joe Rogan Stunned by $300 Million-Worth Hollywood Film Producer’s Distressing Confession

‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ is one of the most popular podcasts out there. The podcast features some prominent guests, and the conversation revolves around their personal, and professional lives. They also don’t shy away from sharing some controversial hot takes.

In JRE #1871, the Hollywood veteran film producer and executive, Jon Peters, shared the mic with Rogan. His credits include notable films as ‘Batman’, ‘Tango and Cash’, ‘Superman Returns’, and ‘A Star is Born’.

Like other guests on the podcast, Jon Peters opened up about his personal life and shared some very private affairs. He detailed how he suffered as a child. Jon also touched upon issues like producing ‘Batman’, spirituality, meeting Elvis and Michael Jackson, and having a bullet in his chest.

What did Jon Peters say to Joe Rogan?

The Hollywood veteran shared unsettling details of his childhood. He confessed, “My father died in front of me and my best friend shot. He was going over the fence in juve [juvenile center]. Lot of stuff did happen to me as a kid.”

Joe Rogan reacted and said, ” You just glossed over some pretty crazy stories. You saw your father died in front of you?”

Peters, without reservation, replied to his question and told, “Yeah, sh*t pi**in’ and go. It took a long time to get over it but I never got over it.” At this moment, all Joe Rogan could do was sigh in sympathy.

However, Peters goes on to explain, “But women saved my life. Because every time I got somebody good, she was smart, she was talented, and she filled in as a barber, gave me a career, and my wife gave me love.”

Rogan on this occasion replied, “That’s beautiful”.

Jon Peters and Peter Guber’s partnership

Peter lamented the ending of their partnership and said, “I love him[Peter Guber] but we broke up in not a good way. One of the smartest, most wonderful man I have met in my life. I wish I had not lost him as my friend after a partnership of 15 years.”
