BJJ phenom, Mikey Musumeci, at just 27 years old, is making an incredible splash in the combat sports world. Despite his incredible grappling talent, which is helping him stay undefeated in ONE Championship, he has currently been in the public’s eye for his beef with influencer Sneako. However, UFC commentator Joe Rogan seems to be interested in ‘Darth Rigatoni’ for a grappling match that took place almost a year ago.

Musumeci had an incredible grappling exchange with one of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s teammates, which went viral. The match was incredibly hard to watch and the podcast host shared the same feeling. Here is what Rogan had to say about the gritty exchange.

In the recent JRE MMA Show #152 episode with UFC welterweight, Sean Brady, Rogan talked about the grappling match between Mikey Musumeci and Gantumur Bayanduuren from January 2022. Rogan revealed that even he couldn’t watch the match, saying, “Yeah, did you see that Mikey Musumeci one in ONE FC with the guy wouldn’t tap? I can’t watch that one.”

Musumeci, in the grappling exchange, had a knee bar secured on Bayanduuren. However, he refused to submit. Rogan revealed the severity of the submission, as he stated, “He ripped that guy’s knee up. I don’t know how that guy’s doing right now. I gotta imagine his knee is ruined for the rest of his life.”

Joe Rogan went on to analyze the exchange, rightfully being in awe of what Mikey Musumeci was doing to the knee of his opponent. The 56-year-old was shocked to see Bayanduuren, as he stated, “He destroys this guy’s knee. The guy won’t tap. He’s got a knee bar here. The guy won’t tap. So now he adjusts and now he’s ripping it sideways. I mean, look at the guy’s knee.”

One thing that we can be sure of by watching the video is how badly Mikey Musumeci damaged his opponent’s knee. Gantumur Bayanduuren is yet to compete, and a Bangkok hospital doctor even claimed that the Mongolian’s leg damage could even be career-ending. Having seen what the 27-year-old is capable of, is it really smart for Sneako to be beefing with the ONE FC flyweight grappling champion?

The social media influencer, Sneako, reacted to Musumeci’s Jiu-Jitsu match against Shinya Aoki. Sneako, currently training boxing himself, was not impressed by Darth Rigatoni’s win and stated that he “shouldn’t be winning”. Sneako in his take on the video, brutally downplayed Mikey Musumeci’s grappling skills. But this did not sit well with the Jiu-Jitsu phenom.

In an Instagram post, he went on a rant calling Sneako a bully. The five-time IBJJF champion went on to say how much he dislikes bullies and targeted the influencer by saying, “There’s this guy named Sneako making fun of me, making fun of my friend, making fun of jiu-jitsu. He calls himself a boxer; I’m a jiu-jitsu guy. Let’s have an MMA fight. I challenge Sneako to an MMA fight. I’m going to shut his mouth and take the bully’s lunch money.”
