UFC lightweight Charles Oliveira has had a long road to the top of the mountain in his tenured UFC run. ‘Do Bronx’, who has competed in the organization since August 2010, is riding an 8-fight win streak toward his title shot. Through it all, Charles Oliveira has been under the watchful eye of Head Coach Diego Lima under Chute Boxe, Sao Paulo.
Oliveira, who has trained with the Brazilian team for over a decade, has transformed into a top contender. Fighting out of Houston, Texas, Charles Oliveira also has associations with Macaco Gold Team Texas under Jiu-Jitsu ace Jorge Patino ‘Macaco’. Jorge ‘Macaco’ is an MMA manager and is a credentialed BJJ Black belt and Judo Black belt.

Under the aforementioned fighting system, Charles Oliveira has grown into a lethal combatant on the verge of gold. Moreover, he’s become accustomed to training back and forth between Sao Paulo and Houston, thus easing his training fluidity. Just days away from his title shot, Oliveira gears up with his top team of coaches to apply the finishing touches.
