“Feed Her to Valentina”: Amid Rumors of “No Talent” Ronda Rousey’s Return to the UFC After Chelsea Chandler’s Statement, WWE Star Faces Fan’s Wrath Over Potential Featherweight Comeback
Rumors of Ronda Rousey coming back to the UFC have recently gained some traction. The talk of the town is that Rousey will soon exit WWE and join the UFC. Now that Amanda Nunes has retired from the sport, the division needs a big name to represent it, and there might not be a bigger one than Rousey. The 36-year-old was part of the promotion when the very first women’s fight took place at UFC 157. Later, she reigned in the promotion as the bantamweight queen. However, things started going downhill for ‘Rowdy’ when she faced Holly Holm at UFC 193.
She lost the bout via knockout just 59 seconds into the second round. Rousey took one long year to recover from her first defeat and returned to the UFC Octagon to fight Amanda Nunes at UFC 207. She lost the bout just 48 seconds into the very first round. A second consecutive defeat was the last straw for the Olympian judoka, who exited promotion in 2016. Now, after seven long years, the former champion is rumored to be gearing up for a return. However, that news does not excite everyone.
