Former UFC Champion Brock Lesnar Was Baffled After Witnessing Triple H ‘On Fire’ Before Facing Him: “I Get in the Smoke…”

WrestleMania 29 was an iconic night for fans as Triple H took on former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. While The Game was the victor in this match, he suffered through a horrific accident during his entrance into the ring. Triple H suffered 2nd-degree burns during his botched entrance at WrestleMania 29.
When the wrestler was making his entrance to face Lesnar, The Game was shot with canisters filled with dry ice. However, due to a malfunction, the legendary wrestler suffered burns on his torso and arms.

In a video, Triple H can be seen speaking about the incident. The Game said, “I get in the smoke and all of a sudden, I feel like I’m on fire. And I can feel myself sizzling and I look down, and I have dry ice all stuck to my stomach.”
However, Triple H did not let this incident stop him. Even though he had ice stuck to his body, The Game made the walk to face Lesnar. Not only did The Game face Lesnar, but he showed no signs of this botch happening.
At WrestleMania 29, Triple H displayed immense toughness. A similar display of toughness was shown by his colleague Brock Lesnar, during the defense of his UFC title.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar had a meteoric rise in the promotion. After winning the UFC title against Randy Couture, Lesnar defended his title 2 times. However, in his second title defense, the south-Dakota born athlete faced a lot of adversity.

At UFC 116, Lesnar faced Shane Carwin in a bid to unify the UFC heavyweight championship. Early in the first round, the then interim UFC heavyweight champion knocked Lesnar down. From there, Carwin followed up with ground and pound. The fighter landed heavy punches on Lesnar’s face and also opened up a cut on his eye.

However, in the next round, Lesnar proved why he was the heavyweight champion of the world. The fighter landed a takedown against the visibly tired Carwin, attained full mount, moved to side control, and finished the fight with a beautiful arm triangle.

In this fight, Lesnar displayed his physical and mental toughness. Many fans felt Lesnar won’t win the fight after round 1. However, the fighter proved people wrong and snatched the victory from Shane Carwin.
