Joe Rogan, who is a UFC commentator and a trained fighter, had made fun of pro wrestling back in 2014. However, as he changed his views later on, Hollywood megastar and famous WWE wrestler Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, responded to The Joe Rogan Experience host’s comments.
While comparing MMA and pro wrestling, Rogan was of the opinion that MMA was real and wrestling was ‘fake’. As reported by ‘WrestlingINC’, Rogan later clarified he was just making a joke. He said that he didn’t hate pro wrestling.

In a JRE episode with guest Patton Oswalt, Rogan had said, “It’s definitely scripted. It’s not like they’re risking it all because they don’t know what the outcome is gonna be. It’s different than an actual athletic event, but it’s still pretty badass as far as what they’re able to do. They don’t nearly get enough credit for it either. While they were doing it, before the lockdown, they were doing it 250+ days a year traveling all over the country, throwing each other on tables.”

Later on, when watching the WWE documentaries on A&E, Rogan got interested in the sport and thus wrote on Instagram. This compelled ‘The Rock‘ to comment, (h/t WrestlingINC) “At one time, it was the best job in the world. One day we’ll get drunk (or high) and talk about it. Or talk about it first, then get f***ed up. [laughing emoji].”
