The WNBA player Brittney Griner is currently going through a rough time in Russia. She is presently facing charges for the possession of illegal substances. While the W/NBA and other communities have backed their athlete to get back home, some personalities have opposed Griner for her past comments and recent charges. Among them was a former UFC athlete, who made some remarks about Griner.
Griner, in her testimony, had offered that her rights were not read to her during the arrest. The news surfaced on the internet and it caught people’s attention. One MMA fighter earlier questioned Griner for her words.
