The ongoing feud between UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and Dana White still prevails over the pay-issues. However, Dominick Reyes believes that the division should keep going without the former. Recently, ‘Bones’ stated that he will vacate the title and quit the promotion if not paid right. However, Jon Jones still holds the undisputed UFC light heavyweight gold, and the promotion is yet to decide whether they would make Jones defend the title or vacate it for other contenders.
Meanwhile, Dominick Reyes, who suffered his first UFC loss against Jon Jones at the headliner of UFC 247, believes that Jones should fight or vacate the belt. Although Dominick Reyes had to exit the arena empty-handed at UFC 247, he definitely put up a show against Jones. Dominick Reyes wants Jon Jones to compete or vacate the title

During his latest interaction with Luke Thomas, Dominick Reyes reflected on the current condition of the UFC light heavyweight division and bashed Jon Jones for retaining the title without defending it inside the octagon.
A rematch between the two has been on the cards since their original bout at UFC 247. According to Reyes, the UFC offered Jones the rematch multiple times. However, Jones ignored the offer.
“Jon didn’t want to fight. He flat out said no. There was no date or anything like that, but (the UFC) was like, ‘We want to do the rematch but Jon doesn’t want to do it.’ Everyone was down except for Jon, and his whole thing was money.
“If he’s not going to fight, you’re done. I mean, you’re done. You’re stripped. It’s over, you retired.”
