Finally, a sigh of relief for those who had bought the tickets for the event. As the biggest fight in UFC history headlined the event, the stadium had already sold out maximum capacity.
Thus, with the speculations on cancellation and postponement flying around, people who had bought the tickets were nervous in anticipation. Well, not anymore.
The UFC Universe is also rejoicing at the fact that the organization is not giving up on UFC 249. After all, it is not every day that we get to see Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov battle it out in the octagon.
Where is UFC 249 most likely to be held?
While the UFC hasn’t canceled Khabib vs. Ferguson, it has been confirmed that the UFC is brainstorming a new venue. While most arenas will not be accessible at the moment because of the continually deteriorating situation, there are still some options that the UFC can exercise.
One of these being the UFC Apex Facility. The state-of-the-art arena is ready to use, and Dana White has hinted many-a-time that the Las Vegas octagon can always conduct events.
