Angle revealed that megastar wrestler and former UFC champion Brock Lesnar was eyeing a comeback to the sport of MMA. Chiefly, Angle explained that Brock wanted to square off against arguably one of the best in the sport, Jon Jones.

The news recently surfaced that Brock Lesnar was no longer under contract with the WWE. Additionally, it was revealed that his merchandise had been pulled by the company. These revelations sent a shockwave through the MMA world as fans immediately speculated a return to the cage.

“I think brock just got tired of doing it. Don’t know if he wants to fight again, I don’t know if he wants to go to another company. I cannot see him going to another company. But I think Brock should just end his career in WWE. The way they treat him and the way he gets paid, I don’t know why he’d not want to just stay. It’s really up to him but I think he wants to fight.”

The revelation regarding Lesnar’s interest to return to the UFC has certainly sparked a lot of excitement amongst fans. What’s more, Jon Jones has been keen to scrap against the megastar in Brock and boost his own profile. The star athletes would undoubtedly do massive business together at the box office.

“Brock told me that several times that’s who he wants. If it happens it happens, but I think that might be the only way to get Brock to fight. I think he just wants Jones.”

It is largely unclear whether Brock Lesnar is genuinely keen on making a full-fledged comeback to fighting. In the past, he has used the media buzz of a potential return to leverage a larger deal with the WWE.
