Just because you’re a strongman, doesn’t mean you’re immune to injuries sustained in the gym. Hafthor Bjornsson, better known as Thor, learned this the hard way this past weekend during a competition at his gym, trying to bench press 556 pounds. The 34-year-old strongman was injured while attempting to bring a heavy barbell down to his chest. The ailment, however, has not stopped him from trying to dance to contemporary hits with bodybuilding superstar Mike O’Hearn.

Bodybuilding superstar Mike O’Hearn features Hafthor Bjornsson in his new Instagram reel. Although Bjornson’s devastating injury tore his pec muscle in the clip, the two stars can be seen waving along to the popular beat in a lighthearted moment.

In the first week after the video’s release, the meme went viral, amassing over a million views. The TikToker probably had no idea that only one day later, Mike O’Hearn himself would post a meme video of himself on TikTok to the same music. However, apart from all the injury-related stuff, the strongman has released a collaborative video with none other than bodybuilding legend Mike O’Hearn. The clip features a performance of What Is Love, where the bodybuilder and the strongman seem to be smiling and waving while the song plays.

Creative approach from the bodybuilding star’s fanbase

Around 3 million people have watched the video since it was uploaded. As soon as it was posted online, fans of both stars flooded the comments section to share their opinions.

As the iconic line from the song is “baby don’t hurt me”, this comment, however, suggests, “When baby don’t hurt you.” It looks like fans didn’t shy away from drawing comparisons between the two as this comment read, “Hercules vs Thor.”
