Adding a strange but fascinating sharpness to his look, Lee?s beard in the 1960s made fans go gaga over his fashion.

Lee?s biography, ‘Bruce Lee: A Life’, also mentions the time when Lee newly started appearing in public with his bearded look. Author Mathew Polly revealed that while the master lived in Hong Kong, he never grew his beard. In Chinese culture, a clean-shaven look is always preferred over a beardy one. However, once Lee went to America, he adapted to the western lifestyle too. Hence, in the 1960s, Lee experimented with growing his beard.
