Can she dominate 2022?
Back to the grid, in a recent video, Richardson was seen practicing her acceleration, starts, and sprinting. Certainly, she hopes to get back to her best shape ahead of the 2022 World Athletics Championship. However, with the Jamaican trio of Elaine Thompson-Herah, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Shericka Jackson beside her, winning there might not be a straightforward task after all.
Understandably, the sudden passing away of her mother affected Sha’Carri massively. Adding to her misery, she was forced to withdraw from the competitions after testing positive for using a banned substance. Despite putting on a fantastic time during the US trials, she lost her Olympic berth.
