“I am really looking for the combined. I mean she got back to her feet after those two mishaps in slalom and giant slalom. She is ninth in Super G and she had a really good first-time downhill training run. She in my opinion is the favorite in the combined. I think she has a much better attitude now. You know, she said, I feel I don’t have pressure now and I’ve checked that box. Really looking forward to what she can do in the combined on Wednesday,” said Vonn.

The effects of mental health struggles are well documented these days. It is not a straightforward task to come back with two significant losses. Hence, Shiffrin has done a good job in getting back the competition.
