Being a bodybuilding legend, it is difficult for any individual to impress Lou Ferrigno with their workout. But, the Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa had once easily impressed Ferrigno. However, Ferrigno made it crystal-clear that competing with him is will not be easy for Momoa.

Notably, Momoa is also famous for his lean physique and ripped body. Although the actor has never competed in any bodybuilding competitions, he still looks like he could be a great competitor to other bodybuilders.

However, once, when Ferrigno was asked if Momoa could have been a successful bodybuilder, he had a hilarious and smart answer to it.

Could Jason Momoa beat Lou Ferrigno?

In 2016, a TMZ Sports journalist caught Ferrigno hanging around in the streets and hence, took the opportunity to ask the legendary bodybuilder a few questions.

During that time, one of Jason Momoa’s “chin-up” videos had gone viral on the internet. Hence, the journalist was curious to know Ferrigno’s thoughts on the same. The “Hulk” actor replied, “No guys could do a chin-up with that amount of weight, and pretty impressive.”

The bodybuilding legend also pointed out that it looked more like a “caveman” workout to him and hence thought it was a clip from Momoa’s famous period drama. “I mean, I thought the routine from the Game of Thrones because I’m just like a caveman kind of workout,” explained Ferrigno.

However, when the journalist further asked “The Hulk” if Momoa could beat Ferrigno on the bodybuilding stage, Ferrigno didn’t even hesitate and said, “No, no, not at all. Because you need to get “Ferrigno Fit” [pointing at the logo on his t-shirt] for it.”

No matter how impressed Ferrigno was, even someone like Jason Momoa didn’t seem a threat to the bodybuilding legend. If not Momoa, who could beat Lou Ferrigno?

Ferrigno Vs Arnold Schwarzenegger:

Ferrigno’s arch-rival and behind-the-scene buddy Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of the people who could beat the Hulk actor. During their prime bodybuilding days, the duo often faced off with each other at Mr. Olympia and various other bodybuilding competitions.

Although Schwarzenegger always was a step ahead and often beat Ferrigno, “The Hulk” star was a close second. Both Ferrigno and Schwarzenegger were the top competitors and rivals during their careers. But Ferrigno never won a Mr. Olympia title, while Schwarzenegger won seven.
