Chris Bumstead and Breon Ansley’s rivalry graph has seen a tremendous change in the last few days. From openly challenging the other before the bodybuilding tournament to calling each other brothers at the end, it has been a roller-coaster ride for the two. Recently, Breon Ansley shared a video with Chris Bumstead on his Instagram, where the two athletes were seen expressing their true thoughts about each other.

Bumstead and Ansley have been rivals for the last six years, giving tough competition to each other. Out of the six times they have faced each other, four wins went to Bumstead, and Ansley took away the first two. However, as Mr. Olympia 2022 has come to an end, so has their rivalry.

In the upcoming tournaments, the two would no longer be competing against each other in the same class. On that note, the two bodybuilders bid goodbye to their competitive streak with their heartfelt message.

He added, “He is just that powerful and champ luck. So well deserved brother. It was fun and now it was the last year for us because I’m moving my talent up in classes. Nevertheless brother you have been a Marky ambassador for the sport worldwide. Commenting on the post, CBum wrote, “A unique relationship I didn’t realize until recently how much I’ll cherish forever. Appreciate you homie, all the best on what’s next ❤️🙏🏻” In the video, he also shared that his rivalry with Ansley had been his driving force to win the competitions. “We started classic physique, and I wasn’t Chris Bumstead, I wasn’t chasing titles, I was just there. And then I was just trying to be Breon. My drive at the beginning would be to be Breon, and I don’t think people understand,” said the 4x Classic Physique champion. CBum and Ansley seem like they inspired and pushed each other to get the best out of themselves. Clearly, it has worked for both.
