Standing 4-foot 8-inches tall, Simone Biles is indubitably the greatest gymnast of our time. She has shown again and again what it means to dominate a sport. With four moves named after her because no one else can pull them off, and several records in the bag, Biles is the most decorated gymnast ever.

And it’s not just her 32 Olympic and World Championship medals that declare her the best. One of the greatest NFL players of all time, Tom Brady, agrees that Biles stands at the top.

Tom Brady calls Simone Biles the greatest

Simone Biles made an appearance at the Super Bowl and no, we’re not talking about her cardboard cutout at the Super Bowl LV. In 2017, Biles was a special correspondent for Inside Edition for Super Bowl LI. And one of her duties was to interview the athletes on the opening night.

Though, for a good while, she was busy entertaining fans and taking pictures with them. But who can blame them? Biles was already a living legend. In a sea of reporters, Tom Brady spotted Biles waiting for her chance to ask the NFL star her question. The moment he saw her, he commented, “There’s the GOAT. Right there.”

A statement like that from the best NFL quarterback of all time? A massive accomplishment. Biles responded with a giggle and thanked Brady for that title. She asked Brady if he had to pick a gymnastics apparatus to compete in, which one he would pick. To this, the quarterback responded, “It’s an impossible sport.”

Tom Brady won his seventh Super Bowl Ring last year at the Super Bowl LV. Simultaneously, Simone Biles raised her tally of Olympic medals to 7 at the Tokyo 2020 Games. If we were to juxtapose their success in their respective sports, it would be a fair comparison.

The five-time Super Bowl MVP holds nearly every major quarterback record, including passing yards, completions, touchdown passes, and games started. He has never had a losing season. There’s no doubt about his status as a legend and he is widely regarded as the greatest quarterback of all time.
