At the Dublin Racing Festival, Willie Mullins sent many horses to the scheduled races. The Ladbroke Novice Chase, a Grade 1 race, was unique in that it had five horses. But since three horses didn’t participate in the G1 race, the field saw reduced competition. After these horses didn’t participate, just Fact To File and Gaelic Warrior remained to compete. The crowd at Leopardstown Racecourse watched as Gaelic Warrior charged over the track as the race began. But Gaelic Warrior’s speed dropped because of a few errors, and Fact To File took the lead and easily won the G1 race when the other horse fumbled the last jump and lost.

Willie Mullins remembered the horse’s first visit after this brilliant G1 win. According to the X post of Road to Cheltenham, Mullins said, He’s always shown me he’s good.” Adding, He’s doing everything right, the renowned trainer said. While praising the horse’s devotion and obedience, Mullins dropped hints about the coming of the gold cup. The trainer elaborated by saying that he would be consulting with John P.
