New York Yankees are arguably the most successful team in the history of Major League Baseball. Considering their rich history and trophy collection, the past 10-15 years have not been the best for the Yankees. But despite that, many baseball players crave to play for the Pinstripes at least once in their career.

And recently, MLB legend Cameron Maybin also credited the Yankees for his glorious run in the game of baseball.

While speaking to Ryan Ruocco of ESPN on his podcast R2C2, Maybin confessed that after retirement he can be completely honest. And now he does not have to sugarcoat his words.

“The beautiful thing that I love about being retired is, I can be completely honest. Now, I don’t have to kind of sugarcoat my interviews. And to be honest, after 2019, after the experience that I have with the Yankees,” Maybin said.

Notably, earlier this year, the Yankees legend announced his retirement from baseball. During his 15 years in Major League Baseball, Maybin played for a total of 11 teams. The 34-year-old represented teams like Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs, New York Mets, New York Yankees, among others.
