In the 2016 Rio Olympics, the USA witnessed an outstanding performance in the gymnastics arena. ‘The Final Five’ pulled off a brilliant gold in the team all-around event. Out of these five, Aly Raisman and Gabby Douglas had the prior experience of winning gold in the 2012 London Olympics. Whereas, Laurie Hernandez, Madison Kocian, and Simone Biles were the young troops of the USA gymnastics team.

It is a long-time tradition for The President of the USA to invite the Olympians to The White House after the Olympics. In the 2016 Summer Olympics, they won 7 medals combined individually in addition to the gold in the all-around team event. It was an extraordinary effort from the girls that got them an invitation to the White House.

Between all this enjoyment, there was one person who was missing all this. Gabby Douglas had to omit the visit as she was recovering from dental surgery. But the team did not get short of members as the Former President took the responsibility of covering the vacant spot.

Obama attempted to do a split with the team. He put a lot of effort into doing the split and it was commendable that he almost got successful. Although his better half, former First Lady, Michelle Obama provided him with a reality check and hilariously said, “And he can’t touch his toes”.

Simone Biles’ Final Five had a good time in the White House 

Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Laurie Hernandez, and Madison Kocian took over the White House during their trip to Washington DC. They went to meet the then-President after showcasing a brilliant tour in the Rio Olympics. Other than the Prez, they also met former First Lady Michelle Obama and then-Vice President Joe Biden.

‘The Final Five’ had a great time in the White House. Moreover, they enjoyed juggling; Laurie even did her dance moves and all these got posted on the official Instagram account of the White House.

Fans have always loved the adorable banter between the former President and his wife. This was a very relaxing and enjoyable outing for ‘The Final Five’.
