Billionaire LeBron James’s Company Set to Show 9x US Olympic Gold Medalist Legend’s Story in Upcoming Documentary

Basketball legend, LeBron James‘s passion extends beyond the sports community. He has persistently voiced for the African-American community in the past. He intends to bring the greatest stories from his community to the forefront by using his power as a successful athlete. In 2014, James and his business partner, Maverick Carter, launched their media house, Uninterrupted. It specifically focuses on content related to athletes and their distinctive journeys. Recently, a publication by Black Enterprise revealed the star athlete’s Emmy-winning company is working on Olympic icon, Carl Lewis’s unconventional path to greatness. 

The track star was voted ‘Sportsman of the Century’ by the International Olympic Committee in 1999. Hence, it’s unquestionable that the documentary will be one of the most-awaited features in the sports domain. It will spotlight his personal life encircling family and friends, along with the turning points of his journey that are unheard of.

According to the Black Enterprise article, the 38-year-old pro is aiming to inspire the world with Lewis’s mighty contributions to the sports field. The 2-hour-long film shall highlight the pioneering journey of the icon spanning his 18-year career. “The unconventional path he took on his way to winning nine Olympic gold medals,” the source stated. It is brought together by Uninterrupted and Noah Media Group, a production house based in London.

Hence, film director and co-founder of the latter, Gabriel Clarke, spoke, “We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with Carl to tell his timely and important story…The aim has always been to capture the true scale of his sporting and cultural impact, making LeBron, Maverick, and the brilliant UNINTERRUPTED team the ideal production team-mates.” Lewis, 61, took to his Twitter to share the feat, garnering much attention from the fans.

In 2016 news surfaced that the NBA Superstar will be aiding the production of the boxing great, Muhammad Ali feature film. “It’s tough to put into words how much it means to me to be a part of this project honoring the legacy and telling the extremely important story of the great Muhammad Ali,” James expressed.

The idea was announced the same year the legend passed away. It was eventually released in 2019, making it a super-hit documentary. The following year, James and his company received massive endorsements of $100 million from his investors. This encouraged him to aggregate all his three companies, SpringHill Entertainment, Robot Company, and Uninterrupted into a mother organization, SpringHill Company.
