American Track Legend Allyson Felix Turns to a New Sport After Retirement From Olympic Career

Allyson Felix is one of the most decorated track and field athletes in history. The now-retired sprinter boasts 11 Olympic medals and 19 World Championship medals. Allyson Felix also won her 12th gold medal and broke her tie with Usain Bolt for most gold medals in world championships.

After years of dominating the track, the American sprinter retired last year. Post her retirement, we could see Allyson trading her spikes for golf clubs very soon. Golf may look like uncharted territory for the track legend, but her colossal athleticism may just pave the way for an easy transition.

Now that I have more free time in retirement, it’s one of the things on my list.” A user was quick to comment on the post, “My guess is we’ll see a few new records in pace of play! Allyson’s pivot toward golf could see her become a beacon of encouragement to dreamers worldwide.
