The martial arts icon Bruce Lee and his son took the internet by storm with a resurfaced photograph of the duo. The level of excitement among the fans went up, with the father and son engaging in a fighting stance.
Similar to his father, Brandon took to martial arts like a duck to water. Following in his father’s footsteps, he learned the craft and entered the movie industry. Sadly, he left the world after a horrifying incident.

By the looks of the picture, we witnessed Bruce donning a black robe and facing toward his toddler. Brandon, on the other hand, wore a white baby pajama and mimicked his father’s iconic stance. It shows an unbreakable bond between a father and a son who practiced a traditional form of martial arts- Jeet Kune Do.

The martial arts expression, developed by Bruce Lee, came into existence in 1967. The idea of intercepting is the USP of the martial arts form; as the term suggests, it means interception of the opponent’s technique. For every martial arts form, there are guiding principles. Jeet Kune Do has three core principles- simplicity, directness, and freedom.

Learning from the Dragon himself
As Bruce’s movie ventures were in Hong Kong, he often went to his father’s sets to see his dad in action! But, things went south as Bruce Lee passed away in 1973. After that, he moved to California and trained under his father’s student, Dan Inosanto. However, Brandon’s pathway to success becomes a mystery after an unforeseeable incident abruptly concluded a potentially laden career. He passed at the tender age of 28.
It is disheartening to see the son of a famous martial arts expert who could not rock the screens like his father. All left is an iconic picture of both the father and the son. It’s a case of what if Brandon Lee could have been a superstar in the making. Yet, the bud never blossomed!
