In baseball, speed plays a major part. The more the speed of the bat, the more chances of scoring a home run, the more the speed of the ball, the more chances of getting the player to miss. When all this brutal speed hits right at the head, there would be serious consequences.

In a recent game of the Little League Softball World series, the batsman couldn’t take the speed of the incoming ball and immediately fell on the ground as it hit him hard. However, the latter’s reaction to all this is what stunned the crowd.

The uploaded video shows the pitcher releasing the full with full potential and it deviates and strikes right on the forehead of the batter. He instantly fell to the ground and was unconscious. The match referee immediately made his way to check on the player.

In all this chaos, the pitcher who threw the ball felt bad for the release. He was standing shattered on the pitch. After gaining consciousness, the batter went to him and hugged him. It was a beautiful sportsmanship moment. The crowd was stunned watching this as they are accustomed to heat between the opponents.

Luckily, the batter escaped severe injuries and comments were made in abundance about the whole scenario.

Some had positive comments about the safety, which was crucial and wasn’t neglected. The helmet was surely one of the most important factors here. This was the positive side as fans appreciated the safety features which were followed by such young players and also the sportsmanship part which took place later in the game.

A user commented,” Aw. Putting human life above sports, how compassionate and lovely. Lot of these sport parents could learn from this.”

Another user said “Many professional athletes could learn a lot from these two.” This comment reflected a lot on the discipline, safety and courtesy that was presented by this LLWS game by such young upcoming players.

While some appeared to appreciate the sportsmanship and other aspects, some were furious about the pitch that was delivered and raised an alarm that the youngster could have lost his life.

Though this young player escaped the horrors, there is an event when the pitcher was hit with the ball as it came towards him and suffered extreme convulsions, which is just horrific for any human being to either witness or experience.

Tyler Zombro, the Durham Bulls pitcher, turned unconscious after the ball that he threw towards the batter came at a really high speed and hit him in the head.

The disturbing video had the discomfiting convulsions that were experienced by the player and he was immediately rushed to the hospital after this. Durham Bulls immediately suspended the game after the incident.

The young batter that we saw in the main story has been praised a lot for maintaining the safety protocols. The sportsmanship that the game presented was just delightful and every team could pick something from it. Thankfully, the blow was not as serious and the batter was fine. His friends, family, and the team would be looking forward to watching him perform in the very next game.
