Prince Harry Enjoyed Watching Lionel Messi Win Against LAFC While Sitting in a Luxurious $9,000 Suite

Lionel Messi is one of the most celebrated modern-day legends to have graced the soccer field. The 36-year-old World Cup champion has recently joined the Inter Miami soccer team. Similar to all sports enthusiasts, the young member of the Royal Family can’t miss the chance to watch the living legend play on the field. 

The Duke of Sussex attended the last match between Inter Miami versus Los Angeles Football Club at the LAFC stadium.

Besides Prince Harry, several other stars and soccer executives graced the BMO stadium on September 4. The Prince was found sitting beside the co-owner of the Los Angeles Soccer Team, Larry Berg. 

The 56-year-old Nashville actor, Connie Briton also accompanied the Duke. The rising star of the NFL, Caleb Williams was also sitting in the same gallery.

Harry with all his enthusiasm watched the Messi Magic help David Beckham‘s Inter Miami defeat LAFC on Sunday evening. Harry enjoyed the evening sitting in a high-cost director’s box at the BMO stadium. The hospitality package estimated at worth $9,000 for the Prince also included beer, wine, nachos, and hot dogs alongside access to the VIP lounge. 

A horde of celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Selena Gomez, and Will Ferrell joined the Duke that evening. The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle was also expected alongside the Duke to attend the match. However, unfortunately did not make an appearance. The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex recently attended a Beyoncé concert together at SoFi Stadium. They were accompanied by Harry’s mother-in-law Doria Ragland and a few gal pals of Meghan Markle.

Amidst the controversies of a bitter relationship between David Beckham and Prince Harry, they attended the match. But, they were not seen sharing words. 

Leo Messi takes MLS by storm

Messi joined David Beckham’s Inter Miami on July 15, 2023, and in less than two months he took over Major League Soccer. The seven-time Ballon D’or winner has scored 11 goals for Inter Miami from July 15 to September 4.

With Inter Miami winning its first trophy, Messi secured his 44th trophy on an individual level. Scoring multiple goals, Inter Miami won four out of seven matches in the league and won their first title.
