2020 US Open champion Naomi Osaka has been dominating headlines over the past couple of seasons. Her achievements on and off the tennis courts are outstanding. In recent days, she has become the face of French luxury brand, Louis Vuitton. In her recent post on Instagram, she received a comment from pop star Nicki Minaj.
Similar to her idol Serena Williams, Naomi has been growing increasingly popular amongst the well-known names in the world. She is one of the most marketable athletes in the world. In 2019, she made approximately $19 million from various endorsement deals. In the following year, she pocketed $34 million from the brands she endorses. The increase in her earnings gives a clear indication of the rise of the Japanese starlet.
Naomi Osaka to Be in Adelaide Prior to Australian Open 2021

With the Australian Open around the corner, players have been arriving in Melbourne. Although, there is a one-day event in Adelaide, in which eight players will be involved. Naomi will be headlining the event along with the likes of Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.
There was a short clip, in which Naomi was seen jumping with excitement upon her arrival in Adelaide. Interestingly, World No. 3 posted on her Twitter account but later deleted it. The emphasis of carrying out this event is to show support towards the southern part of Australia for managing during the coronavirus pandemic.

On a larger note, it’s a superb effort by Tennis Australia and the various organizing bodies to conduct the Australian Open 2021. Naomi will be heading to Melbourne after the one-day event in Adelaide, along with other players. The 2019 Australian Open champion will look to extend her impressive hard-court performances at this year’s major.
