Joining the list is another tennis superstar, Iga Swiatek as she recently added another achievement under her belt. The Polish tennis player’s contribution transcends tennis and can be seen in a number of noble endeavors. Notably, the 21-year-old player has deservingly got a spot in the list of 100 most influential figures around the globe by TIME magazine.

She also thanked the American alpine skier, Mikaela Shiffrin who recently lauded her noble endeavors for Ukrainians during the adverse phase of their country. In her post for TIME magazine, Shiffrin lavished praise on Swiatek for using her platform to advocate for the WTA players impacted by the Russia-Ukraine crisis. Apart from this, the 28-year-old skier revealed that she has been inspired upon witnessing Swiatek’s relentless efforts to pursue greatness on the court.

The previous season’s US Open saw a 19-year-old ATP player dominating the courts of Flushing Meadows in order to clinch his first major title. It was none other than Carlos Alcaraz who stunned the audience with a remarkable display of his prowess.
In the process, the Spanish tennis player surpassed the likes of Federer and Nadal to become the youngest player to reach the number 1 spot in the ATP rankings. Consequently, the reigning US Open champion got a spot in the prestigious list of TIME magazine.
